Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, as part of Scenic Group, works with the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), State and Federal governments, and local and international Government Health agencies to ensure the protocols meet and exceed regulatory requirements. In addition, Scenic continuously implements the newest insights to help Scenic safeguard the health and safety of Scenic's guests and staff, while ensuring the best guest experience possible.

River Cruising

Your safety is paramount to Scenic, which is why Scenic adheres to comprehensive protocols to ensure your physical and mental wellbeing when you board the Space-Ships.

Before Your Departure

Being prepared for a range of eventualities provides peace of mind while you're on your river cruise. As such, Scenic recommends you consider purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may arise, such as medical or repatriation needs.

Guests are responsible for meeting all travel and entry requirements for the countries visited on their itinerary. Scenic recommends having your official travel and health records accessible during your journey as a precaution.

As your departure draws nearer, Scenic will be in contact, sending across any travel documents you may need and providing updates.

Embarkation

Scenic has streamlined embarkation procedures to allow you to check in and check out efficiently. Guests will be able to arrive and depart from their Space-Ship smoothly, and the crew will be there to greet you with a warm smile upon boarding.

On Board

The captains, hotel managers, and cruise directors, alongside their exceptional teams, will deliver a first-class level of service during your time travelling with Scenic. They will ensure health and safety protocols are followed on a daily basis.

The on board crew maintains frequent and high-standard cleaning protocols in public areas and suites, keeping surfaces and spaces spotless. Additional care and attention is paid to high-contact zones, such as communal restrooms and dining facilities.

The spacious surrounds of the Space-Ships in combination with low guest numbers provide ample room for you to relax. Touchless hand sanitiser dispensers are readily available in public spaces and guest corridors on board, while automated doors and modern guest servicing minimise physical touchpoints.

The river ships are equipped with specialized air circulation systems. These systems ensure there is no recirculation of inside air on board. When you are relaxing in your stateroom or suite, you will be breathing fresh air from outside that is channelled directly to your stateroom or suite and exhausted directly back outside.

On Shore

As well as maintaining health and safety protocols on board, Scenic works closely with local shore partners. Scenic has forged long-standing relationships with local partners, all of whom have been carefully selected for their expertise and high levels of service and are committed to ensuring your safety. They adhere to comprehensive health and hygiene protocols across all shore excursions.
